ODBC driver for MS Access trial version

Hi:

Has anyone used MS Access trial version as the source DB for Qlikview. In spite of trying downloading the ODBC driver for MS ACCESS, still fails to create an ODBC connection for MS Access. Can someone suggest what drive I should use to connect to MS Access DB ( In case of trial version). My system is 64-bit and I have installed MS ACCESS 2007 trial version.

Did you try to install access database engine.

Can you tell me what OS and QlikView version you have?

Do you have MS office installed in your machine?

OS is Windows 2007, Qlikview Version is 11 SR5. MS ACCess 2007 trial version. Yes MS office installed in my machine.

Hi,

Is your Qlikview 32 bit or 64 bit?

In any case try below.

Go to script editor --> Select Oledb driver and make sure forced 32 bit is selected and form the list of drivers select microsoft jet 4.0 as highlighted in the attached image.

Yeah it worked. Thank you so much. I was trying to create an ODBC connection and was not able to do so, in stead it is a smarter way to connect from Qlik. I knew about this driver, but somehow totally out of my mind.
