in order to send reports in pdf format

without opening the qlikview application , you'll need a qlikview publisher license

Hi Liron,

i have publisher license. only send to Excel was enable. i didn't see "send to pdf." how to get this option.

You can use N-Printing option also by this you can send Pdf reports to many users by sending email to them by attachment of any report you have in the QVW.

Hi Krishna.

Can you confirm do you have this line in your publisher Licence.

PDF_GENERATION;YES;;

If yes, which mean you have PDF publisher License.

PDF Licence and PDF publisher License are two different thing.

Once you confirm you have License then go through the attached document for more information on how to create and distribute PDF reports.

Hi Krishna,

To send Report in pdf format you will have 2 option.

option 1 : Only publisher will doesn't work, along with publisher you need to buy PDF distribution license.

option 2 : you can also send pdf formatted report through NPrinting software. Which is 3rd party software, but

that you also need to buy NPrinting license.

Hi, as it has been mentioned you need to have PDF Distribution License (The PDF GENERATION: YES line on your license) to send automatically pdf reports from management console to any group of users. However, If you plan to evaluate other reporting solutions this could be useful for you:

Krishna,

I think you mean the rightclick property Print as PDF.

This is only available if there is a PDF printer installed (like bioPDF biopdf.com - PDF Writer)
