Good day Qlikview users.

I have an application in which I would like to give the feature, to the end user, to group data by a given timezone.

Right now, I have my transaction table with a record date in EST, I would like to re-group the information according with the new selected timezone.

Which would be the best approach for this?

1. Create a Time dimension with all the equivalents in other timezones

or

2. Use multiples Time dimension, one for each timezone.

Thanks in advance for any help

Hi Miguel,

I would add additional fields for each timezone and provide a cycle group over all time zone fields as dimension. So, the user can switch the time zone he/she wants to see.

- Ralf

I'm curious to hear which option you ended up going with and how it worked? Any updates on this?
