Hi,

I am trying to create a gauge chart with dynamic segment colours.

My data has Actual and Target values. A low Actual value is good.

I can set the first segment (green) to have a Lower Bound value of zero, no problem.

I need the second segment (amber) to have a Lower Bound value equal to the Target value.

What expression do I need in the Lower Bound field to achieve this? I have tried =Target but I just get a red dial!

Many thanks,

Anne

Hi Anne,

By all accounts i have read this is not possible (I am having the same issue). Apparently the gauge only evaluates the boundary once per chart. So if the value is 50%, it will remain 50% for each row in your table even though you are specifiying your target field. An idea has been opened up with QVW and hopefully this will be addressed in a future release.
