how to lock a selection in selection box?? need help please

Hi all,

Please can someone help me out in the below issue.

I have attached a file in which there is a selection box ,few buttons and list boxes.My question is when we make some selection :

eg:

button-Month to month

delivery_details -2014 July as shown in the selection box presently.

I want the 1st line ie, if you see in the selection box the valrundesc to stay always.It should not be able to be removed by any user from the selection box,but can make changes by the drop down present.Is this possible??can someone help me out please??

May be you need 'Always One Selected Value' in the listbox for that field. Select a value from the list box->right click->general tab -> check 'Always One Selected Value'

You can lock a selection by right clicking the listbox and choose the option Lock. But you can't lock a selection in the listbox and choose another value in the Current Selections box. Only the buttons still work to change the selection.
