unsupervised Dashboard App on a Plasma Screen

Hi All

I am wondering if anyone has any experience of creating near real time unsupervised apps.

I need to display some near real time stats on a plasma screen. The screen will be started first thing in the morning connected to a PC & a Qlik

report started on the server.

I will have a SQL script running periodically (every 10 minutes) pulling back a few thousand rows of data.

I will then use scheduler & publisher (currently we are on version 9 but planning to update soon) to update the server version of the report.

My question is how to get the server based QVW on the plasma screen to update automatically without any operator intervention.

I have heard of a "Real Time" license - is that what is required ? - are there any programming requirements ?

Not tested but I think you just need set the Document Properties to something like the below.

Hi Jason

thanks for that - I should have done a little bit more reading myself before asking the question.

For reference I have a report refreshing every 15 minutes against a predefined filter.

Using the flag above if you have an open report on the server & the data is refreshed all of your current selections remain intact but the underlying data refreshes seamlessly without any operator intervention - which is exactly what I was trying to achieve.
