I have a QVLC license and am trying to make a simple QV document to demonstrate QV's capabilities to some potential users who have QV personal edition.

How do I generate a QVW that lets other people open without using up their recoveries?

Application created by you cannot be opened by the one who have personnel edition.

A person who installed QlikView personnel edition can use this for 3 attempts only.

Yes, If you contact Qlik, they can do this for you.

Thanks for the reply.

I have however, seen some documents in these forums where documents can be opened by anyone.

Here is an example Master Calender with 4 date fields

Please let me know if there is something I am missing.

Hi Vikas.

You can open this document as you have licence.

I removed my licence and try to open that application you pointed I could not open it.

As I say any user who installed personnel edition will have 3 tries to open any application.

for this you might need to contact with Qlik. I'm sure they can do this.
