Thanks for your reply. The look is actually two bar charts…one showing the target and the other showing the actual. There are several metrics that I am graphing and have done a rolling 30 day chart— I want the same look and feel but as a rolling 7 day. It should look like this:

How do you know your chart start and end dates?

Does user selecting it?

I think that you need set analysis to manage dates. But i undestand, that with your first day on the chart you would like to see value fromn that day and value existing 7 days earlier. So, this may be done if you will have additional calendar - dimension. You may create in this dimension 2 rows for each date. The table may have fields like this:

Date_WD, RefType_WD, Date

2014-01-08, 'Curr', 2014-01-08

2014-01-08, 'Prev', 2014-01-01

2014-01-09, 'Curr', 2014-01-09

2014-01-09, 'Prev', 2014-01-02

.........

.........

So, in your chart you will use Date_WD as Dimension.

Date field will be reference to field in your normal calendar.

RefType_WD will be differentaiator, which you will use in your set analysis.

Let me know if this concept meets your requirments and if you need more help.

Regards

Darek
