Maximized chart legend formating issue

I have a simple chart and when displayed normally the legend appears to the right. When this chart is maximized the legend overlaps the chart. Can anyone offer help as to why this is happening?

I still don't know the underlying issue which caused this to happen.

To resolve I has to recreate the object and format without using Ctrl+Shift to arrange the legend and chart.

This has caused its own issues as my dimension names are long. I can limit them presentation tab although when maximized they are still limited so I'm not utilizing the space as I'd like.

If anyone else can share anymore info or ideas on this it would be appreciated.

- FYI rather than creating a new object I could have clicked:

Reset User Sizing

Reset User Docking

In the charts general tab; this would have reset my legend and allowed me to resolve the issue far more quickly.
