HI All

If I have a simple bar chart in qlikview, is it possible to setup something where when I click on the chart it pops/opens up a new chart?

I was told that there was a similar functionality in Crystal Reports.

Hi Jack,

New Chart means?

We did similar to this.

First we freezed the co-ordinates of bar chart, just like the minimize/maximize we created a image using text object.

Based on click of the image we displayed another detailed report.

This is outside the chart i.e., not clicking dimension in the bar chart.

That should like it will work for me also. Can you give me some hints on how to do that or do you happen to have a simple sample qvw file?

You may want to look at this example: http://community.qlik.com/qlikviews/1105

In order to make it happen when you click on a chart you will need to put a transparent text box over the chart to fire the action. This feels like it may be counter intuitive though?
