hi,

I had a case where i need to show only specific dasboards for specific users in qlikview access point.

is there anyway to this other than assigning CAL's for user.

Use sheet level section access for the security of the qlikview dashboard.

You can change the ntfs file permissions of the .qvw file on the server so only the users that need to be able to access that document will see it in the Access Point. Simply remove all read access file permissions for those that shouldn't see the document.

Yes you can make available or not a qlikview application to an user.

With Qlikview Server Enterprise, in the management console select your document and in authorization, give the authorization to specific users.

With Qlikview Small Business, you have to use the NTFS Security on the .qvw
