WaterFall char is one type of Bar Chart where value of an Field is shown with Bar Off Set...

Hi Emily

Water fall chart is like if you have car models and their total in one graph ,

it will show you one model total and then other model start point is previous model end point

so it will look like water fall

in your qlik installation folder, usually in C:\Program Files\QlikView\Examples\Documents

ypou can find DataVisualization.qvw with a working example of a waterfall chart (I get the image from that)

use:

when you want to visualize a starting quantity, positive and negative changes to that quantity, and the resulting ending quantity: waterfall charts display how an initial value is increased or decreased by intermediate values
