Failed to open document

Hi,

I have two apps and I want to open the second app inside the main app, so the user has the experience to be the same one. I tried to set the action 'open qlikview document' in a text box, but when clicking it returs the message 'Failed to open document'. (Working local, no access point).

Is it possible to do that? If so, how can I solve this?

Check the file is available in the location or not may be that why it is not shown.

New Update:- Check complete path like in Document C:\Program Files\QlikView\Examples\Documents\Golf Quest.qvw

Make sure you mentioned the correct file path

It should not be like test.qvw, should give full path e.g.if file is in shared folder then \\server\test.qvw

In chart properties -> Actions -> tick mark the Open in same window.

Hi Marc,

The action should work to open up another qlikview document that you can transfer the selection of the first document to.

You can use relative or full paths to the document you are trying to open. For example:

What are you entering in the document field ?
