Hi,

How to show who all users have the access to a dashboard in QMC? There is a rquirement where I need to show the name of the users in a bar chart who logged in to a particular dashboard in QlikView?

Hi Sonali,

There are a couple of applications out there that can help you. One is the Governance DashBoard (available from the download site and the System Monitor DashBoard can some you this and more information.

Hi,

Alternative will be to load the user name field and the application name field from the server session logs. The governance Dashboard 1.1 is a really nice choice,

I have added the authenticaed user name field from the session logs but it's showing the whole user list but I want the perticlular user names who have logged in to the dashboard

Yeah. I wanted to say the exact same thing.

Can't you temporarily lease a license from the server? Do what you need to do and then remove the license again?

The document license will have a 24 hours quarantined period though. Which means you wont be able to reassign the document CAL after usage for a 24 hours period.

I think if I am adding the AD Group name in the script and after that if I will retrive the user lists who have access to a dashboard then it will work But I don't know how to add the AD Groups in the script.Because in Governance Dashbpoard it's showing who have logged in to the dashboards but I want all the user names who have access to the dashboards. Do you have any Idea?

Access to the dashboards is held in the section access rules you have, surely?

Hi All,

Thanks for the reply.

I have checked the System monitor and Governance dashboard and it showing all the users accessed the dashboard.

We also need the list of the people who has not access the dashboard, but access has been given. E.g given below

For Test.qvw we have given access for two users (User1 & User2)

User1 has access the dashboard and we are able to see his name in the above dashboard.

User2 has not access and hence not coming the above dashboard.

Please could you advise how to get the name of user User1 & User2.
