Hi,

i HAVE COUPLE OF ISSUES,

1- whenever i click on the blue bar, some other bar color gets highlighted. Sam eis the case with all the bars

2- there is no data connectivity amongst the selctions... if i click on any bar of a single chart, i will get the same value.click on any bar (any designation) and you will get the same value.

i believe i know the problem.the problem is that the value of designation is in %. i believe thats why there si a disconnect. i am attaching the backend file for reference. you can add/delete any column wth any randon number.

For colors click (in colours tab) the box "Persistent colours"

I would suggest you setting both multicolored and persistent colors under the color tab of the bar chart

As everybody suggested you need to enable Persistent colors. Multicolored is already selected.

One thing I noticed is that the text object have the up or down thumbs hard coded, I think that should dynamic based on a conditional logic.

Persistent color solved the 1st problem...

the 2nd problem is yet to be solved : 2- there is no data connectivity amongst the selctions... if i click on any bar of a single chart, i will get the same value in table beside it.click on any bar (any designation) and you will get the same value.

You have only one table so the fields are linked to each other.

I found that you have three Fields Directors, VP and M director in your source xls.

These fields have presence across all the rows so when you are calculating the Total Gene or Total spec it is coming same for all the three values.

your total row count in source file is 460 and when you do cross table it is just making the rows 3 times.

1380.

So each row is getting repeated for three values of the Designation. That's the reason when select your bar chart whether it is Director or VP or M Director it is giving you the same result.

Thanks for taking your time out and having a look at this. i was aware of this ..but i dont know hot to solve this...i am a bit confused. what would be the solution for this. i can play with the data since this dashbord is taking dummy data

Hi,

This is not what i was looking for. i alreday applied the persistent color and that part is covered. the pending part is that clicking on any bar for a particular product returns the same value.
