Reload Fail

Hi All,

I have a QVW file. I am using a macro to generate xls reports which is activated at the time of reload.

I make a Binary load of my QVW. When I reload it, It works perfectly one time and creates the excel report at the desired path.

But after this one attempt, I encounter an error which is "Encountered a sharing voilation" everytime.
Please help.

In macro environment you find two boxes:

requested module security : set "System Access"

current local security : set "Allow system access"

Adding to Alessandro Saccone comments you might want to make sure that your macro closes the spreadsheet properly. I dont work with macros so please dont ask me how.

I encounter a similar problem with QVD files in incremental loads and that is due to the file still being 'technically' open.

Both the options you mentioned are set as same. But still I am facing the same problem.

It's only an idea,

after the first reload (that works), before you run it again , delete the generated xls file.

I deleted the generated xls file. But I still get the error.

You need to either move the exported Excel to another location, or make a copy and delete the original so that QV can create the "new" version.
