Hi there,

i'm trying to access Qlikview Access POint using ip-adress

http://192.168.12.345/qlikview/index.htm which always asks me for my user and password. This doesnt work with standard windows password.

The http://qlikviewserver/qlikview/index.htm link works perfectly.

How can i change from servername to ip adress?

Hi,

All you have to do is change the security properties of your browser.

Check "Automatic login with current username and password"

If you are using the Internet Explorer, you will get the settings in Tool -> Internet Options -> Security -> Custom Level -> User Authemtication

ok, this works local on my laptop, but what i tried was the access from my iphone where i didn't get my dns-name (server not found).

in mobile safari, i didn't have the possibility to change these settings. can anybody tell me how to access qlikview via the iphone app (or mobile safari) using ip-adress.

it's clear not to use the /qlikview/index.htm part in configuration of iphone app.

without username password it tells me something like 'no authorized documents found.

Hi,

thanks for your help. this put me another step forward. ntfs authentication won't work, i don't know why. app always sends back 'username or password incorrect', no matter if i put domain before or not. same problem i had first with ie.

i hope anonymous access will work. but for testing this, i need some session cals. hope this will solve my problem.

Hi,

I would also add that, make sure your Iphone is connected to the same network on which your qlikver server is connected.

I hope you will help me to resolve this problem

From my localmachine, I am trying to open the QlikView Server with corresponding URL (http://servername/QvAJAXZfc/opendoc.htm?document=BusinessOperationsDashboard.qvw&host=Local)every time it asks Authentication Popup.

If I will give correct user name & password the page will open correctly.

My problem is to avoid Authentication popup Windows. How todisable the windows authentication popup? This problem occurred in allbrowsers.

Please help me to resolve this issue.

HI This only works for individual machines. how will it work globally for all the users that access accesspoints using the IP? i tried accessing the documents but it says rescricted.

Please let me know if there is a way to do this on the server level rather than the client level.
