if any dropdown of multibox is clicked,then big screen of gray backgroud comes n then value in dropdown is appear.can v hide that big scrren?

Hi,

You can specify the no. of item a multibox should show instead of a big list.

Do this settings for that.

Go to properties of multibox -> Presentation -> Limit Drop Down to. Set the value here.

Actually already i have set this value..but the problem is value in the multibox is 2 but wen i clicked that dropdown then for 1/2 sec 1 big dropdown with gray background come n then 2 value is displayed.i want that big dropdown for 1/2 sec should not come...

Hi,

Let me explain what happens actually.

When you create a multibox, qlikview has to show all the values, right..

So when you click on dropdown it fetched all the values from field and tries to show, but here you have defind that you need to show only 2 values, so it reduces to 2 values and thus in doing this it takes 1/2 sec and thus you saw that gray screen.

So to answer your question, there is no way to remove that.
