      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;yes usually but it depends on several things; for a single table it depends mainly on the % of records you read with respect to the total. If you read all the records, using the index takes longer. For a very smalll table, index is useless.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
