I have a subtotal question

I was able to create my calculated dimension to group my payors into Medicare and All Others. I am trying to create subtotals based on these two groups in a straight table. Below I show the first data field that I need to subtotal from a crystal report that I am trying to recreate in Analytics. I cannot figure out how to do this. Once I can do it for one field I can reproduce it for all of the other expression fields.I need to figure this out before Friday please.

can you share some data ?

and why don't you use a pivot table ? you have Subtotal options on the pivot

I tried the pivot table but was not able to set up my two groups for Medicare and All Other and subtotal by those groups. If there is a way to do that I will try it. Thanks!
