See the data&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;first i wrote a script to get the table values as i gave it to u&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;IMG alt="1.PNG.png" class="jive-image" src="https://community.qlik.com/legacyfs/online/54592_1.PNG.png" /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;And in the table view values look like this&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;IMG alt="2.PNG.png" class="jive-image" src="https://community.qlik.com/legacyfs/online/54593_2.PNG.png" style="width: 620px; height: 370px;" /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;and i apply the pivot table to make sure values match which gave me this&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;IMG alt="4.PNG.png" class="jive-image" src="https://community.qlik.com/legacyfs/online/54594_4.PNG.png" style="width: 620px; height: 590px;" /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;which match the table values i gave you and then i did the slope and the values i got different. I feel its something to do with &lt;STRONG style="text-decoration: underline;"&gt;percentage.&lt;/STRONG&gt; &lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;I Need to calculate the linest (Slope) for each given location so i can know if the trend is up or down.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;In EXcel i used the formula&amp;nbsp; = linest( range) which be bigger or less than zero&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I attached the excel sheet. Please help me &lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Linest_m won't work with categorical values. So your x-axis values need the be numeric too. This can be done by for example creating Quarter as a dual field. See attached qvw.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
