My understanding on Server Objects are something like below.

1. These objects are maintained by the server when you work on a document in the server.

2. This is a feature which can enable an end users to create sheet objects while interacting a QVW document on the access point. This feature can be enabled for server and for the Document by using QMC interface.

"Allow Server Objects" in QMC

3. One can observe the list of server objects by going to QMC > User Documents > select QVW file > right panel displays the server objects

4. Server objects can be shared with other end users.

5. They are maintained by the Server in a binary file QVWFilename.qvw.SHARED

More on Server Objects can be found from QlikView Reference Manual.
