I need to create a pivot table which analyze the customer actions. The table will be weekly basis and should give me the number of customers that sign up at the corresponding week. In addition to that, I want to see how many transactions were made at that corresponding week. The problem is that there is no link between the login date,which doesn't always mean a transaction, of a customer and transaction date in the model.

The pivot table should look like this.

Week(Login Date)

2013/05

2013/06

2013/07

new member number

Orders

Hi,

I prepared a small qvw which tells my problem basically. You can see that I connect two tables with the customer id. I want to create a table which counts the number of customers and sales but their date fields are not connected. If I connect the date fields my data model will be broken in my other analysis. How can I create this kind of pivot table? Can I use set analysis for this situation.
