Split into small document...

Hi All,

If I have big very big Dashboard QlikView document (QVW), how split into small, in real time what based generally spited into, based on data or any other options available(Plz Assume I have only 3 years data only)? For Ex, that particular dashboard have List box, Clear button , Current selection, Calendar table(Year list Box, Quarter List Box, Month List Box),bar chart, Straight Table.

Hi Raja,

Basically you can split it with Region wise or depends how your Users are grouped ... You can also Split that on Yearly basis too.

Hi,

you can split the qlikview file using using qlikview publisher based on any field in qlikview document

Hi Raja,

it's actually based on you how you need to split the application ... example

let say I have a same application as you are and I have 80 Users who are going to access that application.

now I realized as my Application is too big to open on Access point and although out of my 80 Users 40 belongs to North part 20 belongs to South 10 belongs to east part and 10 belongs to west part. so I will split my application on Division columns which is North,South East and West.

so I have provided a Security too now specific Users will see there Data only and these Split .QVW will be now small in size and very quick to access ...

I hope this will clear so you need to check your end how flexible and feasible your data look like to split ....
