set analysis is group of data we can replace if condition using set analysis in many cases which gives better performance.

Please find attached file, hope it helps you. Also press F1 in Qlikview desktop and in Index type Set Analysis section, go through that it has all the options.

For a layman, as the word says Set Analysis. This allows us to filter, aggregate and goes to and fro to the selected Data Set.

Suppose, you have selected the Month Jan 2014 and you need to compare the data with Last 3 months with some filters. Then we use Set Analysis.

Moreover, it is only used at Chart Level and not at script.
