I have created a task for fetching the data from the data source.

How can I create an alert for data load fails??

Can anyone gives light on my question please?

First step: U need to configure the SMTP server in qmc

QMC-->System-->Setup-->Mailserver

Second Step: Include the email ids who want to get alert

QMC--> System-->Setup-->Distribution services-->QDS@Servername-->Alert E-Mail-->Include email id like below

After this need to restart the qds and qvs services.

if you want through the Application you can go through this Attachment of the Documents where steps has been mention.
