Calendar Object

Hi All,

I am having a "DATE" column. I need to place 2 calendar objects as FROM DATE and TO DATE.

I placed 2 calendar objects and in Data field I selected the DATE column.

But the date which i am selecting is not getting reflected.

Can anyone help me ?

Can you set Mode to Multi Value.

Hi Michiel,

On setting the Mode to multi value can make the user to select multiple dates I guess.

What I require is, I have placed a calendar object. On selecting a date from the calendar, it should reflect in my table.

Is my way of using "Field" option for my requirement is correct ??

Or, Should I use a "Variable" option for this.?

Praveen,

I think I do not understand your question completely.

I get the feeling that your calender isn't related to the data and therefore is select-able but that selection does not impact the other data.

Let me make it simple and Clear

Say, I have a table object,

Reg_Date Ret_Date Names

12/1/1913 12/1/2013 A

12/10/1913 12/10/2013 B

Now I need to place a Calendar object as FROM DATE and TO DATE

On Selecting the date 12/1/2013 in Calendar, It should give the respected row in the table

In this example your calendar needs to be linked to Ret_date to select the date range FROM and TO, to display Names = A.

I tried it already,in the same way, but I am not getting it.

Few changes,

I have only one DATE column and Names.

I need FROM and TO DATE Calendar

Not sure if I understand you correctly.

See the changed attached file.

Edit: Since there is no other expression column, I have used Name in the expressions. Ideally you should have one expression other than this.

Consider its Worldcup 2013

I have a NAME column. Its full of Cricket Players names.

I have a DATE column. Where it has dates from 1st May 2013 to 30 August 2013

I have placed a Table object, which contains - Name, and Team Name

I m placing a two Calendar Objects, they are : From date and To Date

now I need to see the players who all played between 10th June 2013 to 20th July 2013.

I need to see all players who falls under this Date range.

In your file, Since the data is one 2 values, v can select between the two dates, But I m going to select in Calendar, that too between a Random range.

I think, u got my requirement clear

Create a vStartDate and vEndDate Variable...

On Change Them Add a Trigger with Select in Field = YourDate Field and expression '>='&vStartDate&'<='&vEndDate
