Hi All,

I am new to QlikView,

What is the difference between New Button Object and Text object and what is the similarity both (I am find properties everything to be same).

you are right

very few, scrollbar for example

so sometimes text is used as a button

Differences between New Button Object and Text object:

Text objects are used for adding information to a QlikView document. They can be used to show text information or an image in the layout(Using Representation dropdown in general tab of properties.)
Text objects can also be used for pictures and can also contain calculations
Buttons can be used to execute various commands in QlikView.

Similarity between New Button Object and Text object:

They can be moved and positioned anywhere on a sheet, just like any other sheet object.

You are right, there is not a lot of difference between the two. Since you are new, have a look at this:
