Hi All,

In QlikView, what is the Online Data and Offline data, how to integrate this? Please explain and share good example.

Hi Raja,

well there is no such ONLINE OFFLINE DATA but this might clear your concept

Qlikview Online Data you can say that it is like you are logged in with Domain Account and hit Qlikview Access point

what ever you access will be a Online LIVE data (reloaded and refreshed as per schedule).

Qlikview Provides one more flexibility which is User if not in domain can still access the data by downloading the Qlikview App from Access Point once he logged in and can do the same analysis from his machine outside the company/Domain/state/country which can be said Offline Data (last reloaded and refreshed data).

Hi,

I'm not an expert, but...just to give an idea.

In a qlikview dashboard data is stored, so if you open a dashboard in the access point you are getting the refreshed data. If you download the file, this will not be refreshed, and you have to keep in mind that you are working with offline data.

Offline could be useful in meetings, or when you have not internet access, especially for mobile devices.
