file opening issue

Hi,

I have a qvw file which was created by previous developer. when i double click on that file to open, it is self reloading so i cant view the code. the file is very heavy. I want to change the code but i have to wait more than 2 hours. is there any way to stop execution when opening the file. when i cancel the reload, it s asking to reload old data again. if i click yes then it s reloading again. if i select no, file open fail. pls hels

Hi dushan,

When the file is in reload mode click on END HERE and then you go to Settings>Document Property>Triggers delete the RELOAD Action.

After that you can change the code and assign the RELOAD action again.

Yes Pradip is right just disable the trigger.

Hi Dhushan,

Go the settings--> documents properties--->Triggers ( Under this option remove the reload trigger and create a new one as per your choice )

Hi, Dhushan.

I had to ask a colleague about this as I recall you can open it without triggering a reload.

If you press 'Shift' button while opening, the automatic reload will not start.
