macro not working in browser

Hi All,

I'm displaying some information using text object. There are four buttons "First", "Previous", "Next", "Last". These buttons will change the contents of text object(which displays 4 entries at one time).

I'm using macro to update text object details. It is working perfectly fine when I try it in qlikview client.

But when I try uploading it in server and view using browser, text object is not getting updated whenever I click on any of these buttons, may be because of macro not getting executed. But I'm not sure why it happens only in browser.

Can anybody please help me to solve this??

Hi, maybe you have not set the macro to have a system access? Press in the browser shift+cntrl+m and set it to allow system access.

Why use macros? Just use regular actions (Set Variable, Select in field) they´re a much better approach

Are you using Ajax or IE plugin? Ajax doesn't support macros...
