Hi,

can any body tell me major difference of QV 9,10,11.

can u please give me answers in application level and in Architectur level.

faced issues in version 10 solved in 11 atleast a few i am expecting different and from experience

Hi,

The best way to get a comprehensive list of what has changed and added to the different QlikView releases, check the different Release Notes files and make sure to follow the Technical Bulletin blog to be updated. You will find a PDF for each version Release Notes in that blog.

You can download them as well from http://www.qlik.com in case you have a customer account since version 9 or a partner account.

The main differences are in Qlikview 9 this are not exists

- Mekko Chart

- Container

- Session Collaboration

- Alternate States

- Dimension Limits

- Conditional Expressions and Dimensions

- Direct Discovery

- Accesspoint layout changes

- Publisher and Server are merged into one

etc.

Nowadays QlikView add N number of features, well again you can find qliktech web portal, and you obtain various idea.
New Features:

You can add comments like
Table comments.
Variable comments.
Field comments.
Expression comments.
You can add annotations.
You can share the session.
Associative search is the main functionality of 11.
Top down selection in load script editor toolbar.
And give syntax tool tips in script editor and expression editor.
Dimension Limits are new within QlikView 11.
Parallel data load.
Incremental load.
You can change the load order.
Detached charts. When charts is de attached no longer responses user.
Conditional enabled the dimension and expressions (Show mode) ->Conditional enabling of dimensions and expressions improves the user experience
Getting started wizard
Containers objects (GRID) -> user allow interact with more one object at time (Single Object or Grid).
New actions are introduced "Clear Filed".
