Hi Mahesh,

BI means Business Intelligence which deals with the data completely.

The whole concept of BI Tools is nothing but to take the input data, apply BI techniques and come up with some visuals(Dashboards) that helps to understand market trends, grow or sustain your business.

These dashboards contains different charts to represent the data like pie, bar,..(13 charts in QlikView).

The input datasource for BI could be anything like excel, sql db, oracle, big data, and so on.

We build a data model on top of this (Star Schema and Snow Flake schema) which are nothing but the representation of how you loaded the data.

BI has different opportunities like BI Developer, Administrator, DBA.
