Dynamic reports in Qlikview Ver11.

Dear All,

I created a dynamic report which is based on the sample in the qlikview latest version and working on the latest version of Qlikview. I have two list

1. Dimension List.

2. Metric List

I use pivot table and add the Dimension like

a.Region

b.Unit

c.Country

Same sequence i added this dimension in pivot table.

And Dimension

a.Sales

b.Measures

How can i do this:-

If i select Counrty, Region, Unit as a dimension and Metric Sales how to give sequence to the dimension so it always give sequence same like as i select the dimensions.

Region, Unit, Country because i am added dimension like this. How do give sequence to the dynamic report.

Hi,

The pick metrics and dimensions are just hiding and showing column based on Conditional Show property. The sequence will be as per your chart/ table layout. If you have place Region, Unit and Country in dimension, it will appear in the same order when the user pick those dimensions.

Hi Ritul,

Means of Adhoc reporting is that user can select maeasure and dimension by their own and can preprepare report accordinlgy.

I will suggest you to keep dimensions and measures movable so that on client user can move it as per requirement and prepare report as per their requirement without intervention of developer or consultant.
