How to vote ideas

Is it just me or there is no way to vote on ideas? I can't find a button or something to vote (positive or negative) on any idea that appears in that Community section...

Can anyone enlighten me about this?

Hi, Carlos.

Are you able to see the counter in the top left corner of an Idea (420)? The up/down arrows should enable you to vote only if the idea is ACTIVE.

I can't see the up and down arrows. This is what I see on any idea:

My account is new and I have never voted any idea, so I'm guessing that perhaps you need to achieve certain points in order to be able to vote.

I think, your session time out. Please check once.. There is no restriction for votes any idea as per my knowledge.

If you sign out from qlikview ,you will be able to see that kind of scenario.

I signed out and signed in again, in a different web explorer, but I still can't see the up and down arrows. I think my profile may have something wrong.

I have never looked at that area of the website until I saw your post... I do not see the arrows to vote either

It's one of my favorite sections of QlikCommunity since that way everyone can help to improve the tool. Many of the features that any QlikView Developer wishes to be included by default are already listed there, and what's better is that QlikTech has actually implemented some of the most voted in the past.

I hope somebody that is Sara Leslie's friend may share this thread with her. I cannot do that since I don't have her as friend in qlikcommunity.

Hey Carlos,

This is an educated guess but I think that voting for Ideas are reserved for customers, partners and employees (yes even we vote for idea).

I tried looking you up in our salesforce implementation but I could not find you, admittedly salesforce really aint my strong side. I would suggest you drop an e-mail either to your PSM or support so they can link up your new account to the correct company in salesforce.

That makes sense since in my old account I never had this kind of problem. Unfortunately my current account and job are not related to a qlikview reseller, partner or customer.Then I suppose I won't be able to vote anymore. Too bad.
