Personal Edition: Upgrade OS

Hi There,

I have QV Personal Edition and use it A LOT.

Can I safely upgrade to Windows 7 without fear of the files no longer being accessible after the upgrade?

Make a backup of the QlikTech folders in your users AppData folder before upgrading. Restore those folders after upgrading. You should then be able to access the files you created before. You could try out this procedure first in a virtual machine.

Not sure how to go about testing this on a VM.

OS Upgrade is scheduled for 2 weeks from now so will do some more research (and backup the App Data so long).
