Dear all,

I'm making some mistakes, but I don't know where.

The following expression is correct:

sum( {<SALESMAN = {'PAUL'}>} SALES)

and sums all the records with SALESMAN = PAUL.

NOw I would have another expression which sums all the records with SALESMAN <> PAUL. How can I do it ?

I tried this , but it doesn't work

sum( {<SALESMAN = {"<> 'PAUL' "} > } SALES)

Try this.

sum( {<SALESMAN -= {"PAUL"} > } SALES)
