Block Chart

Hi I want to create a block chart as attached.

1. It should breakout by 'Region' (Dimension).

2. It should size those blocks by 'SummaryVariable',i.e sum(SummaryVariable)

and finally

3. It should colour those blocks by another fact 'SummaryVariable2', i.e sum(SummaryVariable2).

Meaning the colour of all the blocks should be the same with varying intensity as per the sum(SummaryVariable2),

less sum----> lighter colour and large sum ---->darker colour.

I have achieved the first 2 steps but am facing problem in implementing 3rd step.

Please suggest.

Also the two facts 'SummaryVariable' and 'SummaryVariable2' are the same. Hence Alternate states have to be used. Can anyone suggest how to achieve this.

Hi,

Format the Colors Colors tab, starting with the first darker. Limits on the size, places to display only 'x' higher values (so it starts with the most value). Attached is an example.

Hi Rebecca, your file is giving an error saying it has been created on a Personal edition Qlikview..
