License Lease Error

Hi everyone,

I was leasing a license from a server in my local system. I got this error everytime I attempt to lease a License.

Please help.

Hi,

Make sure that the Named CAL license is assigned to the user by which you are trying to lease the license.

Hi,

It is assigned to the administrator of a server where QVS (QlikView Server) is installed. It is working fine on server though.

1. In some other laptop, i tried to lease the license from server. It was working fine.

2. when i tried to lease it on my laptop, it shows this error.

What could be the possible reasons??

Is there any case of a network:

i was thinking maybe, a specific service is not allowed on my IP.

Is this a case??

Yes it may happen, Also check that your machine (PC) is properly connected to the server.

My assumption is may be port 4747 not opened in client sys..

Yes as Shyamal05 says this can be port issue but might be due bad-password login or for a network problem.
