Im sorry, my mistake. You can only make gauge in Pivot, not minicharts.

Hi All

I am new to Qlikview, very eager to learn but finding a few things challenging due to my current lack of knowlege.

I would like to be able to create a chart like the example I have attached and I have been told a straight table will allow me to achieve this. I would like the months along the top as well as having some charts for the user to see the trends (month to date type thing). I have tried to use the pivot function which will give me my months along the top, but cant seem to include the charts.

I also have the challenge of needing various different formats within the one table e.g. £, % and regular unformatted figures. Is this type of multi formatting achievable within one table?

I would also like to colour these figures red, amber and green based on the figures (which could vary between £, % etc)

See attachement for what I am attempting to describe!

I have also heard that the user can add in their own comments in a special text/ input box. Can anyone advise on this at all? I would like the user to be able to comment on the figures presented in the chart. Where is this type of comment held when the user is using it within the application?

Thanks for any help

Yes it is quite possible to do in a Straight Table. Im not sure if you need help or your just seeking information about whether it is possible?

You maybe be more specific where your problem is, or send a sample.

But:

You can drag and drop your dimensions, so you can decide where you want your dimensions to be. You can also make a pivot if that is easier for you. By drag and dropping your dimension you can make your month on top level.

Regarding the mini chart, you have to make an expression and instead of showing as text you should choose mini chart under Expression.

Regarding the colors you can under values i think define when your expression text should change color, or you can select LED light or gauge charts if you will..
