Web Tickets in QV11

Hi,

I am using Qlikview 11 and I want to access one Access Point link. When I am clicking on that link it is opening login page.

I want to migrate to next page of access point without entering User ID and Password. I found one document in which it is mentioned

that such type of Requirment is possible using Web Tickets.

Can anyone help me on the same?

Hi,

I have implemented the same scenario where new web ticket gets created for some valid time. Once the time expires then ticket is not valid.

Hi,

Normally with internet explorer you are not asked for a password as it is doing a Single Sign On and the windows credentials are automatically used.

Are you sure the authentication is not set to Form Validation?

Are you using a browser that is not Internet Explorer?

Thanks for your immediate response. But I never work on such type of functionality,

so its bit difficult for me to understand by document.

Can you explain me how its helpful in my requirment?

How do I redirect that Login page to Next page without entering user ID and Password?

Hi Dion,

When I am using Internet Explorer, It asked me to enter credentials only for the first time.

When I am opening it next time it is not asking for any Credentials.

But I want it to never ask me for Credentials.

Is that possible?

Please help me regarding this.

I tried it by creating one Web page which I am Redirecting to that access point link .

But its asking me for entering User Name and Password to access that page.

Hi,

In internet explorer, add your server to the trusted sites or intranet.

Hi Dion,

After adding the site to Trusted Site, It will not ask for Credentials. But I want it to work on all Browsers.

Using Web Tickets I can navigate to next page. But I dont have any idea how to use Web Tickets?

Or is there any other way of doing the same?
