how can we define input parameter for report in qlikview?

for example we define 2 parameter from_date and to_date, then when run the report ,we must enter parameters.

from_date 2012/01/01

to_date 2012/10/01

Can't you use input box to implement what you want?

You will need 2 input boxes one for from_date, one for to_date

Yes ,I want the report run based on the input parameters which have been entered.

Because there is a field in my report, Depends on the date parameter.

i want calculate begining balance debit and begining balance credit .
