how we can use time series function in qlik view??

hi all ,

i have three columns (debit and credit and periods )

in BI, we can calculate begining balance debit and credit and ending balance debit and credit with use time series function in financial function ( PeriodRolling(<<Measure>>,<<Starting Period Offset>>,<<Ending period offset>>)

ToDate(<<Measure>> , <<Level>>)

)

now , i dont know, is there any function with the same property in qlikview ?

and if there isnot , how we do it?

for these calculation , should i installed QLIKVIEW DASHBOARD or any other software?

The results provided by time-series functions (ToDate, Ago, PeriodRolling) can be implemented in Qlikview using Set Analysis.

No, Qlikview doesn't have those functions. What we do instead is use Rob Wunderlich's Qlikview Components library to create a master calendar and use set analysis expressions. See here for more information.

I am new in qlikview and I need a clearer guide to reach the goal.

If I create the master calender , then how can i used calender for calculation begining and ending balance?

and is it necessary install qlikview dashboard for get result?Because i use Qlikview Personal Edition.

If I Success in this test , then we install QLIKVIEW server , dashboard , enterperice and... for used 100 user.
