      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;hi all , &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;i have three columns (debit and credit and periods )&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;in BI, we can calculate&amp;nbsp; &lt;STRONG&gt;begining balance debit&lt;/STRONG&gt;&amp;nbsp; &lt;STRONG&gt;and credit &lt;/STRONG&gt;and &lt;STRONG&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;ending&lt;/STRONG&gt; balance debit and credit &lt;/STRONG&gt;with&amp;nbsp; use &lt;STRONG&gt;time series &lt;/STRONG&gt;function&amp;nbsp; in&amp;nbsp; financial function ( &lt;STRONG&gt;PeriodRolling&lt;/STRONG&gt;(&amp;lt;&amp;lt;Measure&amp;gt;&amp;gt;,&amp;lt;&amp;lt;Starting Period Offset&amp;gt;&amp;gt;,&amp;lt;&amp;lt;Ending period offset&amp;gt;&amp;gt;)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; &lt;STRONG&gt;ToDate&lt;/STRONG&gt;(&amp;lt;&amp;lt;Measure&amp;gt;&amp;gt; , &amp;lt;&amp;lt;Level&amp;gt;&amp;gt;)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;now , i dont know, is there any function with the same property in qlikview ?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;and if there isnot , how we do it?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;for these calculation , should i installed &lt;STRONG&gt;QLIKVIEW DASHBOARD&lt;/STRONG&gt; or any other software?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;thanks &lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

What we do instead is use &lt;A _jive_internal="true" href="https://community.qlik.com/people/robwunderlich"&gt;Rob Wunderlich&lt;/A&gt;'s Qlikview Components library to create a master calendar and use set analysis expressions.
