I'm a consultant and with the release of Qlikview 11, I will need to be able to deploy reports to both Qlikview 10 and 11 servers. Do I need to have both copies of the development environment installed on my laptop or can I save a document created in QV 11 and deploy to a QV 10 server?

Hi David,

I have QV10, QV11 desktop clients and QVS 10 SR3. I did try development on v11 and deployment in v10. It works but however new functionality of v11 isn't reflected.

Hello Kiran,

Did you to install QV10 and QV11 desktops on the same machine ?

When installing v11, it was asking to remove earlier versions of QV installed, so not sure if we can have both versions on the same machine.

Looks like a bug was reported in the beta release but still exists in the GA desktop installer. A workaround is available and is mentioned in the below thread.
