Action -> Open URL

Hi,

I have a requirement to run a Cognos report from Qlikview client. I had created a button for this and set the action to open the URL. But it always fails to launch.

I have 2 environments to test my development activities. One from my latop conneting to client network though VPN. and the other directly logging into a Remote Desktop machine.

Suprisingly the Same Qlikview document is able to open the cognos report in IE, from my laptop ( connected through VPN). But in the RemoteDesktop it always fails to open the URL. All my users will be using in the actual network and not cnnect through a VPN.

Also, when i try to open a folder path in Cognos portal it opens up fine. its only when i try to run a report in my RDC, it fails to launch.

Summing up,

Through VPN - Both folder URL and Report RUN URL works fine.

Through RDC - FOlder URL works, but the Report RUN URL fails to Launch.
