Hi,

Is it possible within qlikview to create sandpit environments of data. So for example if i wanted to create a set of Data for Finance, Operations, Customer Service etc. Can you create data environments for each of the areas so they can only use data specific to them?

You want to do in one application or different application.Please give me example how you want the data..

Hi,

Thank you for the response.

My example would be if i wanted to deliver multiple Apps to a department but only wanted them to see data specific to their area. Therefore giving some people the ability to create there own reports but only based on the data i want them to see.

Hi Friend ,

Ya surely this can be done ...You can use filter for aathe specified user so that you cn restrict him to see the data.

On the basis of date field we can restrict data....
