Dynamic Sort in Pivot Table

Hi to everybody

I tried to sort the values in pivat table - and found out that this is not possible with the normal qlikview functions.

I would like to order the table dynamically by one of the attribute's values (e.g. I have in the columns the values of the attribute country; UK, Ireland, Germany etc.; I would like to order the values descending for Ireland) . Can anybody help me implementing this with macros (visual basic)? I am a newbee using visual basic in qlikview... I am actually testing personal edition; thus I can not load any external files.

Hi,

You can try to use EXPRESSION sort with set analysis, somethinG like 'sum({$ <country={'Ireland'}> Sales})'.

If you can provide an example, I can be of more help.
