Referencing a single static cell in Excel for variable in script load.

Is there any command or methodology to reference a single static cell in Excel for a variable in script load while loading a series of excel worksheets? I can load all the files I want with whatever fields I want if it's in a "vertical" format with headings etc, but I need to pull down some info from individual cells above the headings specifically.

These excel files are locked and I'm not privy to the password to unlock them. I am responsible for working with these numerous files and making changes elsewhere when these files are changed. It would make the task much easier to pull all this data into one place and look at it there, but I need to bring some of the data above the headings (such as Ship Date and SDO#) down into the rest of the data.

Also, consider using a transformation step (Button "Enable Transformation Step" on the second step of load wizard).

This can help you to neglect all the "humanities" of your excel fiels and keep only desired cells.
