Allowing user to save selection on QVMC

Hello There,

I need to give permission to the user to save the Qlikview Document in QVMC(Qlikview Management Console). If the user make some selections he can only save only those changes, but he shouldn't make any changes apart from this. Is it possible QVMC?

Any solutions would be greatly appreciate and helpful!

Hi Siva,

The document as created by the developer cannot be changed (i.e: remove a chart if that's what you mean) from a client, either using Ajax, Plugin or Desktop. What you do can do is enable shared objects in both the server and the document, if your license allows you to do so (check the LEF file for the line ALLOW_COLLABORATION;;YES;) then your users will be able to create new sheets and objects, share them to other users, or delete them, but this info will be stored in .Shared files, not in the QVW file.

Hi Siva,

Is your Server license a Small Business Edition or Enterprise Edition? The latter allows collaboration.
