Hi,

As with spotfire, which has a default 'Select all' option in its filters, is something similar possible with Qlikview?

Did you checked?

If nothing selected then Qlikview takes it as all selected only.

If you right click within the list box you will have the option to select all.

Yes, In qlikview filters are to reduce the data. you select values to see data only for the selected items and filter out other data, if you don't select anything then it is always everything as selected or in qlikview terms nothing filtered out.
